The goal of the Annapolis Half Marathon is to make the day a community event. We welcome various organizations who would like to volunteer as a group and join the post-race festivities.

Here are the areas we need you to help make the Inaugural TCS Annapolis Half Marathon a success:
PACKET PICKUP - Friday evening at Annapolis Athletic Club
* Packet Issue - Distribute runner bibs and jackets to registered runners.
RACE DAY VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS
* Set-Up - Responsible for working with event staff to ensure venue is set up accordingly may include placing tables, hanging signs and/or organizing materials.
* Baggage Claim - Organize, sort and distribute participants bags.
* Information Area - Responsible for providing information on topics such as directions, specific expo and race event details.
* Volunteer Check-In - Serves as volunteer headquarters and information. Record volunteer attendance, distribute shirt and direct to specific area. Answer basic questions regarding volunteering.
* Vendor Check-In - Check-in expo vendors and direct them to their designated area.
* Course Monitors - Direct runners and vehicles along course. Police will cover major intersections. Cheer on runners!
* Water Stops - Organize water stops, mix Gatorade as needed, fill cups and distribute cups of water and Gatorade to runners. Assist in cleaning area and separating recyclables from trash. Cheer on runners!
* Childrens Run - Help register, check in, organize and supervise children.
* Finish Line Assistants - Assist timing company and announcer as needed.
* Heat Sheet Distribution - Distribute mylar heat sheets to runners at finish.
* Medal Distribution - Distribute medals to runners at finish.
* Hat Distribution - Distribute hats to runners at finish.
* Water Distribution - Distribute water to runners at finish.
* Refreshment Tent - Distribute food to runners.
* Beer Truck - Distribute beer to runners and other attendees with wristbands. Must be 21+.
* Tear Down - Remove all event related items from venue.
